Review:
UK producer Activa is one of the UK's leading exports on the worldwide scene, playlisted on a weekly basis by everyone from Armin to Paul Van Dyk and now a driving force behind the Discover group of labels. On the cusp of the greatness and deserved recognition which John O'Callaghan has achieved from this launch pad, 'Heads Down' is prime example as to why. Ballsy uplifting trance which is found in abundance on his 'To The Point' album, it's fired up with acid lines, rocking basslines and the sharpest of beats. With his own Borderline label also flying of late, we predict big things for this guy in 2012.. Check out this double header to get more than a taste.

Review:
We are big fans of the all the RecoverWorld labels and even more so of the Discover 'Trance Pioneers' compilation series, and following on from Thomas Datt and Greg Downey is one of the most important producers in UK trance Activa. The PvD and Armin favorite here showcases some of his biggest singles and collaborations across 20 tracks. Just a few of the many highlights for us include; 'Sniper', 'My Way Out', and 'The World'. Plus massive the massive collab with Giuseppe Ottaviani on 'Long Way Back', and might remixes on 'One Again' from Greg Downey and Bryan Kearney's 'You Will Never Be Forgotten'. This is a definitive collection of all that is good about trance music.

Review:
The Discover group of labels have always been about new talent, not only unearthing but nurturing and developing. Which has been proven with the likes of John O'Callaghan, and John Askew amongst others. The latest stalwart, already tipped by DJ Mag as leading the way for the nu-breed, is Gary Proud. This peaktime double header showcases why he is a hot name right now, driving beats, shattering acid lines, and beautifully bubbling melodies, all coming together to make a big room sound that will be rocking it the world over.. Get to know!

Review:
Something very special here from the always-impressive Discover Records, with the much anticipated latest volume in their acclaimed 'Trance Pioneers' series. The baton is handed to the mighty Greg Downey, who lays down a fierce collection of some of his biggest tracks, as well as some monster sized remixes. There's 13 killers on offer, with; 'The Instigator', 'Shaker', and 'Once Again' being just a hat-trick of highlights. Not forgetting his re-rubs on JOC 'Stormy Clouds' and Deems 'Tears of Hope'. This is an essential purchase.. Don't get left behind!

Review:
This is one for the trance purists, who will no doubt be fans of Discover. A label which has pioneered peaktime uplifting for many years and continues to bring the euphoria. One of the imprints best loved producers Ian Betts is back with a double header, that will instantly appeal to those who rinsed tracks like "Relentless" and "Pressure Drop". First up is "Messing With The Fantasy", a no-holds-barred power trancer, with piercing acid lines, skyscraper rising riffs, and a trademark relentless groove. "The Grind" on the flip keeps the pace, and throws in an even heavier dose of acid to really twist things up. Both of these will smash it!!
