Review:
Adriatique are a duo from Zurich who make slick, disco infused electro-house. A perfect match then for esteemed house label Diynamic. "Deeper Love" is a driving, melodic stomper with a muted guitar riff, analogue keyboard melodies and vocal chant heavily indebted to early 80s electro-funk. Electro disco workout "By Your Side" keeps things uptempo with dreamy pads and more soulful vocals. Things get moodier on "Motions" courtesy of the deeper, slower groove and John Carpenter-esque analogue synths. The EP's 80s influences blend into the 90s for the title track which is a perky retro house number complete which cheeky vocoder.

David August has made a name for himself with a string of deep and sensuous releases on Stil Vor Talent and Diynamic. Now he's set to take things to the next level with a debut long player that expands on all his previous themes. First up, August doesn't do banging - he's way too classy for that, instead the mood here is poignant and evocative beat-led music. Things begin with the epic Euro-tragedy of "Help Me Through" and beyond that we get luxuriant synthpop "For Eternity", haunting acoustic electronica "Anthem" and even some sultry downtempo house ("Until We Shine").

Renowned for releases on DFA, !K7, Rong and Clone amongst others, DJ Kaos has spread his Chicago infused house message to the whole world. Now, on German imprint Diynamic, he drops a deep and grooving electronic workout in "Hard to Earn". Sharing this exclusive release is a special collaboration between Holger Zilske and Daso who turn in a wonderfully unique and twisted number in the form of "Westbound". Finishing the release, Solomun ties in a low-slung, groove-led rework of "Hard to Earn".

Review:
Hamburg label Diynamic lauched back in 2007 with a string of symphonic, melodic house releases, and this release by Henning Besser aka DJ Phono sounds like a logical progression for the label. Eschewing for the most part the dance floor, Besser lays down some of the richest, melodic electronic music of 2011. "Spur" is a simple but beautiful piano soundtrack, "Quiz" revolves around lullaby melodies and abstract beats and the strings on "Le Rencontre" are as fragile and beautiful as dewdrops on a grass blade. When it veers into the club domain, as Besser does on on the funk bassline-driven "Knarhcsslheuk" or the 90s trance sounding "Soll Ich Ein Loch Graben", he manages to retain the evocative sensibilities that make the rest of "Welcome" so special.

Review:
Following on from last year's Connecting The Dots album, German producer HOSH aka Holger Behn gets remixed by some high-profile names. Canada's Misstress Barbara has been out of the spotlight for some time but her soulful vocals feature on "Finally Mine". Remixer Gorge retains the part that sees her intoning 'open my heart', and fuses it with a pulsing, acid-flecked groove and dramatic breakdowns. Ost & Kjex don't divert from their chosen script, and their take on "Hamburg Night" is based on squelchy, stripped back rhythms and out there vocal samples. Finally, Poker Flat's Steve Bug proves why he's one of the most consistent producers out there, with a soaring bass and eerie organ-heavy take on "Antonelli Screaming".

Review:
Dutch DJ/producer Karmon returns to Solomun's Diynyamic label with a four-track salvo that sits somewhere between classic deep house, main room techiness and late night looseness. Things get started with vocal cut "Take My Hand", whose chugging groove is reminiscent of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger". While Terry Shand's vocal is an acquired taste, Karmon makes great use of some touchy-feely melodies and alien-sounding synths. There's a tasty Dub, too, for those who are vocal-averse. "When Dark Becomes Light" is pleasingly picturesque, while retaining enough sturdy dancefloor chops, while "Feel It" is as bracing as a morning jog in sub-zero temperatures.

Review:
Like Solomun's recent mix for Watergate, Wowshit captures the crossover taking place between house and pop / R&B. NFTO & Karmon's "Nobody Else" is based on a slinky house groove that filters and builds gently and which supports a soulful vocal. Meanwhile the title track - a solo effort by Karmon - is focused on the dance floor as trancey chords are filtered into a whooshing climax as a warm bassline purrs away in the background. However, the standout track is "Raining Again" by Betoko. Featuring a drawling male asking "how do you feel when you open up your window and it's raining again" its slinky bass and building organ lend it an epic, poppy feeling that's far superior to the Guetta's and Tiesto's of this world.

Review:
Noted quirky Norwegians OST & KJEX have been responsible for some jams in their time and given their proclivity for food related music they've probably made some jams of fruit reserve kind too. They also eked out of Maurice Fulton one of his finest remixes in his rework of their "Have You Seen The Moon In Dallas?" so there'll always have a place in our hearts. Here they break a notable 3 year silence with a new EP for Solomun's dependable Diynamic label and look not a food pun in sight! The title track sees the duo on strangely moody form, with deep set hypnotic tones over subtly well programmed drums, whilst a vaguely Hot Chip-esque falsetto vocal adds further levels of curmudgeon . *Indie" is much more fun, all rubbery bass lines and impassive vocals from Anne Lise Frokedal of Norwegian pop act Harrys Gym, while "Harpiks" is a deep, low-slung jam full of glittering synths.

Review:
Famed for their 2009 collaboration with Jamie Jones, "Summertime," Ost & Kjex (aka Norwegian producers Petter Haavik and Tore Gjedrem) continue to dance to the beat of their own slightly leftfield drum. The latest release as part of German imprint Diynamic's Remix Sessions series sees the duo's deep and soulful "Continental" joined by remixes from Pawas, who digs deep into dubby atmospherics, while Stimming delivers a playful and melodic version. UNER rounds off the release by turning "Continental" even deeper whilst giving it a club-friendly edge.
