Review: Diynamic keeps on with its recent explorations of big room tech house with newcomer Andy Bros who serves up some surefire dance-floor fodder on the Essenza EP. The title track is a right stormer with its doomy Carl Craig style horns, humming bassline and white noise washes. Ticks all the boxes really! He ups the ante on "Vino & Faggotini" however a day at a Italian trattoria this ain't; more like a wild rollercoaster ride through pre-peak time clubland! This is one of those dark, Life & Death style journey tracks and you'll love it. Finally "Pleiadi" picks up on the same vibe as the first track with those horn sounds making a return plus some elevating strings and melodics, pretty epic too!

Review: Hamburg house heroes Diynamic are back with Four To The Floor 08 where they serve up some tough main room tech house to get your people moving! First up is the Afro futurist journey that is "Zulu" by Brigado Crew & Crisstiano which will appeal to fans of Innervisions or Yoruba Soul. The harbour city's favourite sons Adana Twins serve up the dark journey track "Uncompromising" which will transfix crowds with its sense of dancefloor drama. Rafael Cerato & Artbat's soulful tech house journey "Uplift" had us reminiscing about the Dennis Ferrer sound of old while finally Definition's "Pretend To Fly" is certainly geared for those hands in the air moments; expect a reaction from the crowd when this one drops. Either when that roaring vintage synth arpeggio comes creeping in or the heartfelt vocals alike.

Review: Hamburg's Diynamic are back with another volume in their Four To The Floor series, aimed squarely at the dancefloor with their energised techno leaning grooves. First up, Human Machine presents the melodic trance induction of "Africa" complete with emotive pads and soaring arpeggios, then there's Neapolitans Moonwalk with "Orbital", a dark and atmospheric journey track that would make even DJ Tennis stand up and notice! Alex Schaufel then presents the oddly titled "Black Drumma" which provides a tough and gutsy groove balanced out by some smooth gamelan melodies. Finally Frenchman Marst appears with the slinky and bittersweet tech house drifter "Aquamoor" which is utterly sublime.

Review: German producer Johannes Brecht is back for Hamburg label Diynamic, a label which he is now known as a mainstay on, alongside artists like David August or Adriatique. His classical training and a sharp ear for sound shine brightly all the way through on the original mix of "Voix Grave". But it's all about his remix: a dark journey track engineered for maximum dancefloor drama. Homeboy Christian Prommer's version is equally packed with mysterious elements; indeed it is quite a suspense filled, deep house journey that will appeal to fans of Innervisions and the like.

Review: Norweigans Ost & Kjex are still at it! Naking it big around ten years ago in the midst of the minimal boom, they've managed to keep up with the times but still forge their identity in the form of ever reliable tech house grooves. However, they've got more of a pop inflected sound these days; it still sounds great! Starting off with the sombre and mysterious "Honkytonk" it then launches into the ethereal deep house of "Le Mur De Pierre" featuring the gorgeous vocals of Anne Lise Frakkedal. There's also the odd pop of "Down River" featuring Anne Kolsta with its dreamy xylophone vibes and slide guitar having almost cinematic qualities. Frakkedal collaborates again on the driving peak time deep house of "Queen Of Europe" a real higlight on this album. It all concludes in glorious fashion with the deep down and dirty urban vibe of "Heart Of Gold" which sounds like Snax and the sublime and slow burning closer "Easy" both featuring the vocal talents of Jens Carelius.

Review: Hamburg imprint Diynamic is back with label mainstays Ost & Kjex. Their Freedom Wig release from late 2015 now gets the remix treatment by the usual suspects. The remix of "Honky Tonk" by Berlin hotshot Rampa is pretty sweet, getting all exotic on you with its rich layers of percussion. Current scene favourite Christian Loffler injects some classical flair and drama into "Down River" retaining Hanne Kolsto's angelic vocals well on this beautiful drifter of a track. Finally "Heart Of Gold" gets remixed by Johannes Brecht and this one is definitely the most funky and upbeat, not to mention tongue in cheek. This funky and broken rendition is perfect for the Berlin open air party this summer.

Review: Hamburg's Diynamic are back with some pretty fierce tracks on Four To The Floor 06, quite a departure from the label's usual deep house sound. Pig&Dan's "Growler" is a storming peak time techno weapon with a furious beat, slamming synth stabs and a big drop: all you need really. Israeli progressive house hero Guy Mantzur appears too with "Trees Of Eden" which goes more for the Life & Death style moody and melodic journey track style. Brazil's ANNA serves up a driving, tunnelling and restrained groove on cruise control with "Odd Concept" while Jonas Rathsman serves up one of the most epic arpeggiations of the year on his monster "Cobalt".

Review: The rather gorgeous title track from "Alpe Lusia" by Diynamic staple Stimming's new LP gets the remix treatment. As you may know, the original is a beatless, cinematic and dare we say experimental kind of excursion so these dancefloor ready renditions sure do it justice. We particularly enjoyed the legendary Robag Wruhme's "Bodelshwing Sovar NB" which is as breathtakingly sublime and groovy as nearly everything else he lends his midas touch to. Acid Pauli & NU team up on their take, which is yet another smooth and dreamy groove with nice bell textures and sweet pads just made for drifting away at summer rooftop parties.

Review: Italian duo Undercatt are up next on Hamburg institution Diynamic. Young fellows Luca Luperini and Elia Crecchi follow in the footsteps of recent Italian power duos such as Mind Against and Tale Of Us to execute some moody and suspense filled journey tracks: all optimised for maximum dancefloor drama. Just like on the title track and the sublime slow burner "Parade" with its stylish arpeggios that constantly evolve for wonderful suspense. It's a more classic affair on the upbeat and party starting funky house of "Hana". HOSH and Solumun have unearthed a fresh duo here and we look forward to what else 2017 will bring from these guys.

Review: Solomun's Diynamic label first rose to prominence a decade ago with a distinctive trance-influenced sound. While its owner has subsequently become part of the international DJ class, it feels like the latest Diynamic record sees the label go back to its roots. Undercatt, who have recently released on Sasha's Last Night on Earth label, mine this spacey house sound on the title track and "Crono", albeit with their own acid-heavy, slightly detuned nuances thrown in. However, they leave these characteristics on the studio floor for the most impressive track, "Juno", which centres on epic synth builds and powerful pulses.

Review: It's been a decade in the business for this Hamburg institution that's spawned many a summer anthem or outright hit during its existence. To celebrate the occasion, Diynamic have launched a killer compilation featuring all the usual suspects that have played a crucial role in the development of the label thus far and they're here to assure you they're more keen than ever. Highlights on 10 Years Diynamic are not limited to: Hanseatic homeboys Kollektiv Turmstrasse with their rather mid '90s electronica sounding "Jupiter Sunrise", label mainstay Stimming with the bittersweet symphony of "Hope & Ramati", label head honcho HOSH with some adrenalised peak time tech house on "The Drumpet Show" and Norwegians Ost & Kjex with their new track "Heatwave".

Review: Hamburg house hero Solomun presents a couple of dozen remixes compiled between 2009 - 2015 and he's definitely been a busy guy between running the Diynamic label and being quite amusing on Boiler Room Tulum. He takes his deft hand to remixes for pop acts such as Lana Del Rey's "West Coast", Foals "Late Night" and Editors "Our Love" through to Hamburg locals Kollektiv Turmstasse's Berlin legend Paul Kalkbrenner's "Cloudrider" and Tiga & Audion's killer "Let's Go Dancing". And yes his remix of Noir & Haze's "Around" does indeed makes an appearance as well.
