Review: Over the course of this four-tracker, Venegas and his friends work through a range of approaches, but the underlying style is a focus on top-notch, groovy DJ tracks. "Carnival", his collaboration with Hanfry Martinez, features dreamy synths combined with chugging tribal beats, while "Delacroix", the track he recorded with Matt Brown, follows a similar path, its dreamy hooks combined with a subtle, filtered house groove. "Jhabalife", recorded with Andre Butano, sees Venegas opt for a more party techno approach - right down to the vocal snippet intoning the phrase 'electronic music' - while "Octavio" with Felipe Valenzuela, is a deep, techno groove powered by metallic stabs.
