Review:
Possibly named after an ancient Sisters Of Mercy tune, or maybe not, Doctor Jeep is a bass producer from Boston, USA. This is his debut EP and it's an impressive start: With its loud and punishing kick, "Turok", is white-hot techno-bass that even betrays a ghetto-house influence. "Freak U" is a fast and furious freestyle banger which is remixed in a short and quirky, post-dubstep style by Obey City. The title track is also remixed here, turned into hazy, delirious ecstasy-ghetto by CZ & Little Texas and a percussion-heavy palm tree bass jam by Kat Fyte.

Review:
The strangely-named Figgy is an American producer (real name Mike Ferrigno) who makes equally strange music. Luckily it's strange in a good way as this EP features some pretty unique and imaginative takes on electronic dance music. The infectious title track is clicky, glitchy soul while "Know You Better" is more a up-tempo leftfield hip-house banger. On remix duties, Dunes makes the B-side deeper. Also the title track is broken up and reassembled by Flote and is taken down a weird acid house route by Oxford Mgno.

Review:
Calling all switch-flippers! If you want to twist your crowd's minds with an instant flip from deep, hypnotic dubstep to a ghetto-slapping trap then "Diamonds" is for you. The best of both bass worlds, this will unite all sides of the dance. As will Mike G's stuttering footwork rub, for that matter. Further on we're treated to crisp, shivering 6AM twinkles -step ("IAC") which is given a more fractured, dubbed out remix from Rabbit. A very strong release.
