Review:
These two breakbeat crushers from The Brainkiller aren't afraid to let melody take a front seat, while also staying thoroughly upfront and hardcore with the beats and bass. "Do Not Put" kicks hard with big drums and brash scratches and cuts, but it's "Game Over" that's the real jewel in the crown. Featuring a long and building intro that winds itself around some dirty synthlines, the beat finally drops after a vocal announces: "3-2-1...Game Over". It's a priceless moment, and Brainkiller's beats really set things off after such a dramatic build-up - well worth a listen for that drop alone.

Review:
Well well well, we've seen some garish attempts to rack up a following on Twitter but never anything as blatant an EP called "Follow Me". It's a good job this request - nay, order! - is delivered in such a delightful musical form. Classic early noughties vibes ride throughout as The Brainkiller takes us back the golden age of breakbeats. "Funky Night" is a real chunky funkster with early shades of Cut La Roc and Freq Nasty while "Stick" is more reminiscent of the Stantons back in their early UKG days. But the real star of the show is the title track; rolling and rasping like an Zinc record circa "138 Trek", it's enough to make you sign up to Twitter just to follow Mr Brainkiller.

Review:
Spanish breakbeat fiend Wardian returns to the Fun Dark label with this peppy beauty that mixes darkside basslines and slowed-down jungle patterns with a delirious slew of cosmic atmospheres and funk leads. Guau's remix takes the chiming keys of the original as its bedrock for a more 2-steppin' revisit, while T-Cube Projects adds a nice taste of squelchy dubstep filth to their punchy mix.

Review:
A fine blast of hard funky breakbeat from upcoming Spanish producer Wardian. "Maximal" packs in a rollercoaster ride of crisp beats, driving bleepy synths and plenty of exciting breakdowns. It's a prime-time banger that's sure to work both in clubs or just being blared out of your speakers at home. "Hardwhere" succeeds in fusing a little dubstep into the mix - adding some nicely aggressive wobble-synths while keeping the beats upbeat and pacey. After only a few releases, Wardian's showing off some serious skills.

Review:
The sixth release from Spanish breaks star Zerostailaz sees him focused squarely on the floor with the slinky grooves of "Cowards", which mixes all manner of funky instrumentation (jazz piano, chanking guitars and some distant horns) with a truly mean and moody bassline. Title tune "Gramola" however runs straight down a nu-funk path thanks to some soft Rhodes and electro-inspired drums, while "Dogstar" is a hyped hybrid of dubstep leads, cosmic textures and upfront 4/4 house beats.
