Great Stuff's Munich Disco Tech EP series has gone from strength to strength since its birth in 2008. Famed for showcasing new talent alongside more established acts, Vol 7 continues the same trend as its predecessors. Up and coming British producers Anil Chawla and James Talk, who both deliver bass propelled, driving tech house numbers, are joined by the Munich based Alec Chizhik & Markus who also managed to entice the legendary Stacey Pullen to turn in a remix of "Tactile".

Review:
German label Great Stuff's championing of sun-kissed house music continues on "Fly With Me". A good time Balearic groove full of breathy vocals and underpinned by an irresistible bassline, it's hard not to imagine it becoming an Ibizan staple. Great Stuff's choice of remixers is also astute and will appeal to a variety of tastes. The Filthy Rich and Nicole Moudaber takes are rolling, disco-led house grooves aimed at mainstream DJs, while the Dirty Doering version, with its deft cut-ups and gypsy violin-sampling, is suitable for minimal DJs. Best of all though is the Giac Le Groove remix, based on hardcore breaks and ravey stabs.

Review:
One of the biggest tunes on a label that specialises in club anthems gets the remix treatment. Tomcraft's version is destined for the big trance and electro house DJs, with its buzzsaw bass and waves of filtered acid fused with a rolling groove. Colorsound's own version is more tempered, with a walking funk bassline underpinning some spine-tingling old school piano keys. The past is also audible on some of Ramon Tapia's versions: his 'Back to the 90s Piano Dub' covers much the same ground as Colorsound's take, while the Fly Lo dub has the kind of Latino guitar flourishes that are reminiscent of vintage Basement Jaxx. Dirty Doering and Nicole Moudaber complete the package with drum-heavy interpretations.

Great Stuff is by far one of the best labels in techno and tech house, with each and every release hitting the mark not just in their specific genres but also opening up to the wider spectrum to inject a fresh slice into progressive and warm-up sets. This latest from Spaniard Dosem is prime example, a simplistic deep groove will get the floor moving while trippy repetitive synth lines and gently bubbling layers gradually build while keeping attention and momentum. If you want to go balls out, then head straight for the rocking Techdub from Mark Reeve.. Pure fire!!

Review:
There are few producers around as prolific as London's Hoxton Whores, with an unbelievable 800 tunes to their name. The double act have released on pretty much every leading house label out there, and now find a home with Germany's Great Stuff for the latest EP. You know the quality is going to be high with HW and on 'The Morning After' they knock out two tracks of dancefloor dynamite. 'Mirror' kicks it off with their trademark warm rolling bassline bringing the funk and a filtered sampled building throughout with a quirky vocal to boot. There is no let up in the energy and the feel good vibe which is now synonymous with them. On the flip is the equally rocking and smile inducing 'Curitiba', a funky plonky lead sound will instantly stick in your head, as will the choppy vocal. These two know what they are doing when it comes to club bangers... essential club weaponry!!
