Review:
There is no stopping the team at the legendary Iboga label out of Denmark, dropping a barrage of bombs on the psy and progressive scene, and the latest is one of our favourites so far this year. Hamburg duo Fusi & Johnson have been doing their thing since 2004, having released on labels like; Yellow Sunshine, Echoes, Planet Ben, and Sub Machine. This EP is their best work yet, energetic and forward thinking psy trance. First up is the floor destroyer 'Kling Klong' which can easily fit into a wide range of trance sets. For some twisted prog head for 'She Is The One' with its chopped vocal and deeper flavours. Completing the trio of treats is the infectious 'She Is Running'.. Give these a spin, you won't be disappointed!!

You can always count on the good folk over at Iboga Denmark to unearth some of the finest prog around, which is once again proven on this killer two track EP from Tel Aviv based Gleb Gold. Hailing from a land where psy trance is the main electronic export, Gleb does use elements of the genre, in the most forward thinking sense and he clearly has a penchant for locking a floor in the groove. Of the two tracks on offer its 'Let It Run' which grabs us, with its relentless ryhtm, drum rolls a plenty, and wicked vocal chops.. there is even a saxophone thrown in for good measure. This is the sound of the underground!

As always it is super fresh and forward thinking vibes for the latest club killer on Denmark's Iboga label with an instant hit in 'Knockdown'. Bringing together one of the leading progressive producers in the world Jerome Isma-Ae with 'big tune' machines Weekend Heroes. Super powerful, hands in the air lead riffs with rocking house percussion and all the stand out appeal of a Swedish House Mafia bomb. For something a little deeper (and cooler) jump straight onto the Cid Inc re-fix, that will have all the heads jumping straight on it.. These two need to get in the studio together more!!

There is nowhere in the world hotter for Psy Trance than Tel Aviv, which is part of the reason why this latest release on Iboga is one of their best all year. Coming from label regular Lish, 'Positive Movement' will rock it in any progressive set, adding a refreshing dynamic with the Psy elements. For the remix things get a little more twisted and acidic from non other than Ticon. Two scene leading legends on one release, which has rocked it as far and wide as Japan to Brazil.. Try something new and check this out, you wont be disappointed.

Iboga Denmark are on somewhat of a roll of late with a constant slew of top quality releases being churned out, and 'Widowmaker' from Matt King and Emok is no exception. The Original is solid enough and will stand out from the bunch, however taking things even further is the Riktam & Bansi mix, one of the funkiest grooves we have heard for a long time this will have techno heads as excited as the trance DJs. Seriously high energy throughout that doesn't let up at any point. You just try staying still to it. Completing their biggest release of the year is another note worthy interpreation from Synthetic. Don't miss this!!

Review:
Its time to get twisted, with the latest artist album from the pioneering Iboga label, out of Denmark. There is no better vehicle for this style of forward thinking psy and progressive than this label, as four years after 'Free Cloud', Perfect Stranger returns with a brand new artist album best described as a "sonic adventure". Of the 21 mammoth tracks on offer, there is a split between original new music, and remixes & collaborations in the later half (with artists like; Liquid Soul and Eat Static). Highlights for us include; 'Perfect Static', 'Carnalisimo', and 'Sundance'. By far the most exciting psy album we have heard this year.

Review:
There aren't many pairings in electronic music as well suited as Denmark's legendary Iboga label and their standout pioneering star Perfect Stranger. Forward thinking progressive music with more than a touch of psy trance thrown into the mix. His recent album 'Lead of Faith' is still on our playlist, and ranks as one of the finest in it's field over the past 12 months. They now look back to the title track and enlist two fresh remixes, (as there is plenty of life left in the LP). Our pick of the two is the floor friendly Riktam & Bansi rework, which keeps things light and bubbling while bringing in some techno influences with grooving moods, notably in the beats and bottom end. It's a real party moment that will work in a wide spectrum of sets, and sound super fresh!
