Review: Canadian born Berlin resident HRDVSION has great form as one half of Midnight Operator as well as solo mixes for Fool's Gold and Crosstown Rebels. Here though, he supplies the International DJ Gigolo label with four truly special lyrical techno gems, most notably the snakey and sinuous "Right & Tight", which reminds us of fellow Berliner's Modeselektor and Siriusmo, while the chopped disco thrills of "No Need For That" joins in to make this a riveting EP.

Review: Compiled by DJ Hell and released on his International Deejay Gigolo label, CD Thirteen is a nifty collection of some peerless 128bpm house/tech magic, like Hell's own jazzy remix of Tim Deluxe's "Transformation", or the cold, icy 808 jack of Adriano Patane's "En Memoria A Santiago". There's also some stripped-back vogue/ballroom friendly fare in the form of Danny Daze's "Ghetto Fab" while BDI's "A Lot of Chrome" is a midtempo beast that just keeps building and building.
