Review:
Multi-instrumentalist Jon Kennedy doesn't often sign other folk to his own JKF label, so mysterious new signing Exhibitor must be really good! We can't work out if this release is actually a limited edition or if it's just the name (a limited edition MP3 is a tricky feat to pull off!) but either way it contains six tracks of totally bonkers electronica. Highlights include the menacing broken-funk of "111 Clouds & A Bit", the glitchy RnB of "Boring Day" and the sinister breaky techno of "Day Fear".

Review:
Drummer, electronic producer and all-round musical maestro, Jon Kennedy, set up his own label, The Jon Kennedy Federation, in 2007 which he has used as an outlet for his ever prolific releases ever since! This latest four-tracker continues his reputation for accomplished individual productions. The downtempo "Live My Life" is a murky slice of hazy trip hop, but we are pretty sure there's a sample of (the heavily plundered) Italo disco hit "I Want You" by Gary Low tucked in there somewhere. Elsewhere we have bonkers live break beat ("Witch Doctor") and bluesy, organic chill out ("Inner Resting").

Review:
Tru Thoughts and Grand Central producer Jon Kennedy adopts his KRS Jon alias on this new release, which adopts some old-school hip-hop breaks and arranges them smartly - as on the swinging and breezy "Stone Groove", or the nu-funk breaks of "King Bee" and the Lee Scratch Perry-indebted "Mr Brown".
