Review:
Spanish label Justified Cause showcase more home-grown talent, in the form of Barcelona's Pablo Sanchez. For the deep house routed 'Space Key' he enlists vocals from Swede songstress Kissy Asplund, delivering a unique and interesting vocal which although not instantly a smash, will work its way to the back of the mind after a couple of listens. The remix pack is a chunky one with label honcho GarcyNoise upping the pace and attitude, built around a relentless rolling bassline, there's also a psy edged bubbler from New Yorker Nick Chacona. Further cuts come from San Fran rising star Al Velila, and Alex V respectively delivering two further strong alternatives.

Review:
Barcelona-based house label Justified Cause has quietly been building a reputation since way back in 2004. Over the years, they've released some excellent material that's been supported by some of the finest DJs on the scene. For proof, check this expansive 'best of' compilation. Beginning with the tune that started it all - GarcyNoise's deep but energetic "Boomshaka" - The Best Of Justified Cause slowly works through a variety of smart house and techno flavours. There's Iberican sweatiness (Junior Lopez), acid-goes-Balearic (Dual Concept), big room hip-house (DJ Ino), seductive deepness (Korper & Seele), Detroit revivalism (Diode), straight-up clubby deep house (Pablo Bolivar), and much more besides.
