Review:
Already endorsed by luminaries such as Josh Wink and Tobi Neumann, Celsius is one of the most evocative house tracks of 2012. Taking its cue from the early 00s trance house sound of Get Physical, its soaring synth, resonating, trippy bass sound and timely drops and builds make for a truly seductive combination. It's no wonder that Neumann has said that it's his perfect warm up track. But it gets better; the 'Synth Tool' take on "Celsius" sees Mayer make the bassline deeper and more haunting, conjure up swirling synths, realised against a tighter clap framework. The end result may not be as clubby, but it's a breathtakingly seductive piece of music.

Review:
Despite its title, "Rain" has nothing to do with the diminuitive prince of pop's song, but this release on Keinemusik still has a high funk quota. The title track also has a breathy falsetto, which &Me has fused with a detuned bass and a clattering, drum-heavy rhythm. The whole thing comes to a head thanks to the use of a building filter, and a similar approach prevails on "Glaced". There, the beats are more tribal and the drums come to a thrilling climax as they ride an insistent filter - no doubt something that Prince himself would be happy with.
