Review: Alley Cat's Kokeshi make a serious statement with this release. Not only has this come a whole month after the vinyl release but the lead track is a totally beatless, drone affair. Not surprising when you check out any of the Kokeshi podcasts (or previous releases for that matter) but still a very bold step into the world of the mesmerisingly deep world of ambience. Looking for something more dancefloor? Look no further than the pulsating 4/4 dub rhythm and space-travel stabs on "Antact". Lively.
