Review:
The premise behind Leftroom's sister label, Left'd, is almost needlessly simple. It was set up in early 2012 as an outlet for material from new, up and coming and little-known artists. By and large, the artists they pick are in the first flush of their careers, taking their formative steps in the business. Going by this first round up of label releases to date, there are a fair few producers to watch amongst Left'd's 2012 intake. We'll surely be hearing more from the likes of JammHot, Pierre Codarin (whose electrofunk-meets boompty jam "Right Now" stands out) and Andrea Gludice, all of who confidently skirt round the edges of the tech-tinged deep house sound.
