Review:
LuckyMe continue their efforts to uncover the producers existing between the genre gaps with the debut release proper from Baauer, who has already appeared on a recent Mad Decent compilation as well as providing party starting remixes for Flosstradamus and B.YRSLF's Obey City. Providing the perfect taster for interested parties, "Dum Dum" is a short but sweet combination of slick trap rhythms, mangled vocals and sub filled with low-end grunt.

Review:
Always guaranteed to release something fascinating, bleeding-edge and entirely riveting, LuckyMe come up trumps with this quite startling new ten-tracker from little-know Viennese producer Cid Rim. A jazz drummer - proved from the beautiful building cacophony of opener "Amuse-Ta-Guelle" - and a producer who matches the intensity of Rustie, HudMo and Machinedrum, Cid Rim really knocks it out of the park with stunning post-jazz laptop madness and shimmering melodies as on "A Fall Four Two" or the delirious juke of "Danger Ranger". A quite exceptional release indeed.

Following Jacques Greene's superlative entrance into the art of releasing music last year for Night Slugs and Luckyme, the Montreal resident serves further notice of his clear talent with another drop for the Glaswegian crew. "Another Girl" has been a staple of the Greene DJ set for a while now and it finally arrives - expertly teasing out warm tones of bubbling melodies and heart yearning vocals over some typically next level beat programming. In less words: A certified anthem! Just to make a good thing that little bit better, Luckyme throw in remixes of Greene's last release from UR legend Mark Flash and Rinse uber talent Braiden as well as digital only refixes from Koreless, the Glaswegian whose been branded the new Joy Orbison, and Machinedrum. Big tip.

LuckyMe present another invitation into the world of Lunice, with One Hunned offering a more concise, bolder vision of what the Montreal based beat miner offered on his debut solo endeavour Stacker Upper last year. Opening with "Glow", Lunice essentially demonstrates his new found confidence at chopping drums amidst a choir of heavenly vocal harmonies and illustrious synth bombast. Alongside it "I See U" and is pure club tackle and a notable highlight, snapping through cavernous vocal stabs and shotgun snapping drums before introducing a Godzilla sized buzz synth thrusting with drunken glee. Elsewhere tracks such as "Bricks" and "Juice" immediately make you want to see Lunice live so you can fully appreciate the dextrous MPC manipulation that clearly went into its inception.

Review:
Big things have been expected from Lunice since his first remixes slipped out on Big Dada and Top Billin' in 2009. Those who groove to the sounds of Mike Slott, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and Nosaj Thing have been waiting patiently for a proper release from the Montreal based producer for too long! Props then to Luckyme, for delivering Stacker Upper, the 21 year-olds first official single release. Whilst nowhere near as far-out, experimental or genre re-defining as some of his LuckyMe contemporaries, Lunice still offers a fresh new twist on hip-hop. The real genius is the simplicity of his sound. Somehow, Lunice is able to make memorable, hum-able tunes with only a handful of elements. Take lead cut "Hitnames Anthem"; while little more than a beat, bassline and rising/falling keyboard melody, it sounds big. The same can be said of the bass bin-bothering "Hip Pop" or crunked out, analogue freakout "Purp Walk". Even the EP's most complex track - the wonderfully sweet and melodic "Fancy Forty" (backed, incidentally, by a great Rustie rework) - comes cloaked in Lunice's trademark production

Review:
Having thoroughly re-established himself in the wave of re-appropriated juke on last years Rooms album, Machinedrum steps up with this rapid fire EP of sliced samples and R&B brightness. "SXLND" distils some serious auto-tune mangling into a broken rhythm, while "Van Vogue" captures the feel-good flavour of early nineties chart dance in a strange, understated soca groove. "DDD" is almost outright house music, albeit with plenty more snippets of vocal getting jiggy with each other, but the smooth shuffle is hard to resist despite its prevalence in these times. Machinedrum's versatility can't be argued with, but more impressive is how he maintains his sonic identity throughout. Highly recommended.

Review:
One of the highlights of Rustie's recent Essential Mix, Glasweigan producer S-Type's "Billboard" sees a release through LuckyMe on this six track EP. Channelling the weighty MPC styles of TNGHT and Araabmuzik into one package, it combines heady melodies, neon synths and heavy beats, with the vocoder filled "Walrus" and the ghetto styles of "Whole Lotta" making for particular highlights.
