Review:
The tenth release from the Manmade staple sees their crew of excellent NuFunk producers and remixers eager to please, with CMC & Silenta dropping a very tasteful edit of Mariam Makeba's classic calypso-funk gem "Pata Pata", Badboe & Prosper giving the Wu Tang a radical funk overhaul, while Cat Nip Tuck slams in the classics on the schizo-boogie of "Cat Nip Tuck".

Review:
An all-star cast joins Manmade label bosses CMC and Silenta on this breaks-fuelled edition of their Feature Funk series. Their own "Chainsaw Massacre" mixes nu-funk with studio bass, while funky breaks producer Tom Drummond has plenty of fun with both Ray Charles' "Hit The Road Jack" and Salt 'N' Pepa's "What A Man" on "Hit It". German masters Telephunken however steal the show with two new tunes - the Northern Soul/Motown swinger "He Was Really Saying Something" and the slow, head-noddin' "It's A Beautiful Day".

Review:
Manmade label owners CMC & Silenta head up this four-headed release of digital breaks and future funk with the punchy "Rock Da Riddem", while DJ Kid Stretch keeps the vibe going on the punk-funk of "Horny", which uses canny samples from Juice's "Catch A Groove". German trio Funkanomics go straight fro the jugular with the fast and frantic cut 'n' bass flow of "On The Floor" while Mr Fudge rides a classic breakbeat rhythm on "Boot All Night".

Review:
For those of us who dance to the horn-toting rhythms of classic funk breaks, Manmade's Feature Funk series has long been a reliable source of fresh, floor-friendly fodder. This fourth instalment in the series offers more bass-heavy thrills, all rolling breakbeats, clipped funk guitars and cut-up funk, soul and hip-hop vocal samples. CMC and Silanta open proceedings with the midtempo bounce of "California Johnson", before Zamali breaks up the beats on hooky Q-Tip cut-up "L'Oisseau Bleu". A strong package is completed by the Quincy and Cakes collaboration "Bobby Good Love", a ludicrously energetic chunk of feelgood breakbeat soul that neatly combines gospel, hip-hop and funk samples.

Review:
Manmade Remixed Volume One is the first part in a new label series. Comprising of seven remixes of "Party Block Rocker" and one CMC & Silenta remix of "All The People" this album touches on breakbeat, disco, nu-jazz, soul, funk and Latin influences. With remixers including Tal M Klein, Cut La Roc, The Breakbeat Junkie and Da Wiesel this is one not to be missed.
