Review:
Microcastle is a label with an impressive legion of superstar supporters, and for Brazilian producer Andre Sobota's new EP that's no different. Early support on this from; Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman and Markus Schulz (not a bad start, hey). Deep progressive vibes on the lead track 'Time', which will sound amazing in a dark smoked filled room, while on 'Surrounded' he goes a little lighter and brighter with some luscious layers. Remix wise, its King Unique who smashes it out the park on the 'Surrounded' Stopped Watch cut, and Dosem injecting a killer techno groove to 'Time'. To put it simply, this is an amazing EP of electronic music.. Check it!!

Review:
Progressive heads get stuck into this tasty treat, as for release number 21 on the wicked MicroCastle label they welcome back Cid Inc and for another double header EP following on from 'Our Benefactors' back in 2010. There is a real techno undercurrent to these, making the grooves impossible to stand still too and injecting energy and lift in to your sets at any time. The Original mix of Emotional Self is what's doing it most for us and will be hammered by everyone from Sasha to Zabelia, while the likes of Cattaneo are on the Microtrauma cut. On the flip 'Urban Biorhythm' is a little less dancefloor yet still with plenty going on to keep those late night smoke filled underground clubs bubbling.

Review:
The MicroCastle label continues to knock out everything from progressive to techno, all at the highest standard and uncovering some seriously interesting and talented producers. This latest outing from Spooky is prime example, perfect for the dark underground rooms. Fill the smoke machines, drop at just the right time and hear the rumbling bassline smash the speaker stack and cause the dance-floor to go nuts.. Its simplistic in arrangement but has plenty of energy to carry right through, with twist and turns and bubbling acid lines cutting through the mix. Psycatron gets even more twisted on his cut while Petar Dundov heads down a deeper route... Wicked release!!
