Review: Desonanz finds himself in a shadowy hinterland on 2nd Next, occupying a place where techno, bass and industrial come together. The title track unravels gradually, its off-beat rhythm unfolding to the sound of analogue yelps and bleeps. "2nd Next - Modul 2" is more defined, with Desonanz focusing his attention on crafting a stripped back techno track, but with a difference as insane dark riffs and lithe back beats power the arrangement. Finally, "Zeitverzoegerung" sees him drop any concession to subtlety; robust and visceral, its broken beats and murderous bass have all the malevolent power of the very best of the Rodz Konez imprint.
