Review:
Already gaining hype from everyone from Roska to Sinden, No Brainer producer Costello drops some seriously gonzoid grimy techno in the form of "Kross" - which works up a funky mix of almost Dutch rave-style warped bass and minimal clicks and pops. Another Costello original - "Circle" - keeps up the lean and intense tech vibes, while mixes from Roby Howler, I Need? and Dunjinz all add some equally tasty perspectives.

Review:
Electro house heroes Malente and Zero Cash continue their productive alliance with a new five track EP on No Brainer Records. "Without Out You" looks back to the days of raw, hair-raising house including stomping beats house-nation/jackmaster-style vocals and of course good old piano stabs. "Jail Babe' is best described as 'laser-house' as the intense rhythm track pound while an industrial alarm repeats and um, laser sounds goes off everywhere. "Turning Beds" combines disco-synth lines with galloping tribal house. The title track is also remixed by Ego Troopers -a deep and dubby affair- and Vin Sol & 5kinAndBone5, who conjure up the spirit of Lil' Louis to killer effect.

Review:
Here's something you don't get everyday - a Bach influenced bass act that aim to be 'euphoric...in a good way'. PL€A$UR€ are certainly different; title track "Platypus" sees tough beats married to a driving bassline and a searing classical harpsichord melody. There are five remixes of this track to choose from including the breaks-heavy Lucid mix and the pulsating electro-disco version by Hoshina Anniversary. The most effective mix though, is a 90s Euro-dance workout by the awesomely named Vhyce. Bonus track "Toucan" is a tropically flavoured spectacular that opens as a dizzying percussive workout before giving way to a peak time banger complete with hands-in-the-air synths and euphoric melody (a classical one, of course).

Bumper remix package of the intriguingly titled "Bum" by Say Dubai on No Brainer. The original is available in its full, off-kilter brilliance, alongside remixes from Sam Tiba, Polymath (a particular highlight), Kill Light and Look Like, with the latter version (a wonderfully soulful, atmospheric remix) a free present from us here at Juno Download! Rounding off the package are tow more original cuts, namely "Fast Prey" and the brilliant grizzled electronics of "Coala". Must-check business from start to finish.

Review:
With Crookers, Diplo, Sinden, and Riton supporting, its party time with upcoming Hungarian dup Slap In The Bass which will appeal to fans of Fake Blood, Herve, and co. Following releases on Roska Kicks & Snares, and Southern Fired they are back with another quirky and action packed jacking house track with twisted beats, and a snazzy piano lead. If you want a twist to a progressive set or to lay something down different early doors, then this is the one. The PLEA$URE mix of 'Indian Legends', and Aero Manyelo's cut of 'Chant' are where its at. See what you think of the freshness!

Review:
Excellent tropical house and minimal bass swagger from Hungarian posse Slap In The Bass on this new release for No Brainer Records, which has already had glowing praise from Roska, Crookers, Surkin and Boys Noize among many others. "Nada" is a perfect collision of icy, dancehall-influenced drums and R&B strings, while "Goma" goes all out on a tech tip with some sinister echo pads married to a clap-happy 808 beat. Recent Boys Noize-approved producer SCNTST kicks up a monster reworking of "Nada" that seems him brutally chop the original over some industrial siren rises, while Wafa Night use those distinctive string hits as a launching pad for an acid-fuelled odyssey.
