Review: A split release between Subterra and Bazil here on Nu Directions. Beware of deep, dark bassline roller "Gutter Mouth", which heads up this release. Think terse, crisp breaks, warped SFX and a growling subterranean bassline crawling beneath in an Icicle-crossed-with-Zero T manner from Subterra. This one is gnarly! Bazil then takes over for "Cold Shoulder". With a soulful vocal sample echoing through the intro, this is another darkside 3am killer, with a compelling pattern of bleeps and sweeps, dramatic bass rumbles and a Metalheadz demeanour about it.
