Review: Alpha 303 may not be a household name, but he certainly knows how to work his way round a Roland. "Hypnose" is the most conventional but intense take on acid techno, but its evil bassline ensures that it'll get a lot of DJ action. "Daydreamer" is more subtle and laid back, but for something truly individualistic, check "Kontrol". There, heavy claps and bubbling acid underpin menacing synths that sound more inspired by dark electro than Chicago. Jereon Search also delivers two excellent remixes: the first 'Deep Sleep' version is a killer bleep techno workout in the Sahko/Sleeparchive vein, while he goes for the jugular with the 'You Are' mix, a tough analogue track that leads to a screeching climax.
