Review:
Greyship, an American rock band from the mid 1970s became Greyship & Davis, then Greyship Davis and finally, after the departure of the lead singer, Greyship Daviz. Make sense? Shifting their rock influenced agenda to a more funk referenced version, by 1977 they were termed as funk rock. Now, Jerome Derradji plucks another boogie down disco cut from the Past Due archives for their latest release, "The Groove Is on the Loose". Alongside the original DFA's James Curd offers a cosmic disco rework, Moodmusic's Nick Chacona throws in a dub version and My Cousin Roy turns in a grumbling, contemporary, bass-driven mix to round off a top remix package.
