Review:
WUS label Peer Pressure drop the latest four tracker from the London based DJ Clart. "Brick City" can only be split into two distinct sections. On the A, the talented producer brings us two, soulful and funky rolling D&B tracks. The title track is awash with warm melodies and intricate keys whilst "The Game" features a more prominent beat whilst still keeping the atmosphere light and breezy. The final two tracks however, slip into deep, dark and brooding sub bass fuelled anarchy. "Sludge" is grumbling and full of menace and "Grimrock" fidgets nervously around a throbbing low end.

Review:
A delightful trio of deep D&B right here as Facing Jinx steps away from his fruitful collabo work with Philth and lets his solo light shine. Trust us, it shines brightly... "Lonely" is the lead cut; a tearful roller that skips and flutters with undiluted melancholy, it's the perfect home for Just Some Guy's inward confident drawls. "Hungry" is more track-based in its spirit; all spacious and positive, it's not dissimilar to a Calibre, S.P.Y or early Nu:Tone number. "Consumed" leaves us lingering on a floatier note as the subs genuine do consume you. Emotional vibes.

Review:
Peer Pressure follow up the rather grizzly EP from Wreckless, Arcaudio and Necrobia with this delightful trio of rollers. The title track is pure bliss with soft pads, a breathy vocal and lightly placed percussion. A true sunrise number if ever we heard one. "Attraction" takes the Danny Byrd approach to vocal arrangement but with a much deeper, gradual bass riff growling beneath. "Motion" finishes the pack, and reminds us why Philth operates under such a menacing moniker: distorted, warped bass does the negotiating while some classic old school synth flutter over the top. Heavyweight business.

Review:
Did you know, by opening this email your computer is ten times the mass it was before? That's because of this very EP; just reading about its heaviness in a review creates added gravitational pull. Listen and you'll know why. Wreckless is at play on all cuts, his solo being the bashy, conga-rattling title cut that snaps, sizzles and rolls with abandon and drops into a heavenly, dream-like breakdown. The remaining two cuts are collabos: "Source Code" (with Necrobia) is late night Renegade Hardware style tech while "Head Groove" (with Arcaudio) is a snarling neuro number that stinks of Noisia. The epitome of heavy.
