Review: The appearance of Joris Voorn's name on any release is guaranteed to raise its profile, but in fairness to the Dutchman, he delivers a fine interpretation of "Natural High". The beats are heavy, the groove jacking and best of all, the interplay between the moody organ sequence and haunting vocal sample calls to mind the darkest
excesses of pre-Digweed progressive house. "Varta" follows a similar approach, focusing on a chugging, drum-heavy groove, but on this occasion, it's a niggling acid line rather than spooky organs that prevail.
