Review: While Cole Media has always been capable of cranking out sweaty floorfillers, much of his best music bobs along at a more sedate tempo (remember that blissful smack-house dub of the Bee Gees from a few years back?). "What I Like (Is House Music)" bobs along at a head-nodding 112 BPM, offering a warm, melodic and organ-heavy fusion of deep house, sun-warm nu-Balearica and knowing garage revivalism. It's a pleasing combination. There are two more upbeat interpretations for those seeking bare dancefloor thrills. Review: Larger than life L'Equipe Du Son is one of the electro-disco scene's quirkier characters. And we applaud him for it. "Le Rocker" is an Ed Banger style banger with all manner of crisp cuts and filtered flourishes while "Snowballing" is a much more abrasive, acid-riddled disco stomper. Meanwhile on a remix flex we find Moustache Machine doing a fine impression of Justice, we find Emeron & Fox applying a mesmerising cosmic twist and we find Final DJs pressing the big 'euphoria' button on their controls for a stunning climax.
