Review:
Haze's latest release comes courtesy of Sin City and kicks off with the rambunctious "Maestro". From the off we are plunged straight into a cacophony of raucous siren screeches, low-end whirrs, reggae sounding rallying cries and smacking snares. This continues in a similar vein for the duration, with no let up. "My Selecta", the accompanying cut, continues the journey with juddering synth squeals, twinkling synths and battering beats. Approach with caution.

Review:
Recovered from Subzee D's bomb on Sin City in September yet? You best had. As there's more... And it's packing the same filthy powerful, chop-slapping punch. Hizzleguy is all about the heavyweight vibes as we dive straight into the compressed sines of "The Massive", a sharp-edged shocker with highs that rattle the mind. "Rockaz", meanwhile, flips the switch for a slammer of horror film proportions. All pianos and hoovers, it's a peaktime drama ITV would be proud of. Further on we find "UFO", a sizzler that's not dissimilar to early Skream material. "Separation" completes the set with a 4/4 that sounds, bizarrely, like a slowed-down gabba stomp. Mischievous.

Review:
South London boys Skream, Hatcha and F One go in hard with tearout synth strikes and powerful percussion. Be sure to check Cluekid's super minimal effort "Sector 9" and LD's "Inferno", where the producer does his riddimatic thing with lethal electro synths and forward leaning soca syncopations. Big release from the Croydon crew.

Review:
It's all been happening this year for Birmingham's Subzee D, having been championed by the likes of Annie Nightingale and Skream & Benga. His ascent is surely set to continue with this bangin' anthem that features a slow 4/4 beat, wobbly bassline and a whopping great sample of Loleatta Holloway's "Love Sensation' (hey, if it worked for Black Box...). The accompanying tracks are quite different though - "Void" is a pulsating electro workout that borders on techno (in a good way). "Haunted House" continues the punishing electro vibes but with added cinematic samples and Judge Dredd sounds like a stoned robot! Digital bonus track "Snakes & Ladders" keeps the intensity but adds some light relief with melodic synths.
