Review:
Black Hole subsidiary Song Bird have been on a great run of late, with Amurai's 'Valencia' and 'Capadocia' from Nafis both getting big love from the Juno office. The form is up kept for this fresh EP from upcoming duo Aeonism, albeit on a slightly deeper and more progressive vibe than the previous records. For us it's 'Twilight' that grabs the attention, carrying a little more pace and more of a dance-able / hooky melody to the title track. Both great productions with a sonically sophisticated finish. Whether it's for those very late night sets, or to get the floor started with a gentle simmer.. these two will do the job.

Review:
Scottish producer Andy Duguid has established himself as part of the elite pack of trance producers over the past few years. From major collaborations with Mr Sam, and not to mention several remixes for non other than Tiesto. With 'Miracle Moments' he is truly at his best, featuring Leah's beautifully emotive vocal and two great remixes in the form of an uplifting take from Marc Simz, and something a little dirtier from Zachary Zamarripa which carries the most power.. Another great release from Songbird.

Egypt's new name to watch DJ Hashish gets quick off the mark after his debut Songbird EP from the start of the year with two more killer tracks. Well rounded progressive vibes with plenty of energy and variation, the arrangement, melody work, and overall musical appraoch is totally on point and winning an ever growing legion of fans. 'The Sandcastle' on the b-side is built around a riff that more than nods to classic trance from the golden era, to add a dash of nostalgia to your sets.

If this rising stars name isn't enough to grab your attention, then his music most certainly will be. Young Egyptian talent DJ Hashish continues his association with Black Holes Songbird label with one of his finest releases to date. Super slick progressive sounds with a depth and imagination rarely heard, its easy to believe that he has been producing since the age of 9. Both 'Lost' and 'Profound' will be priceless additions to any warm-up set, with the later having just a little more standout appeal.

With a decade of consistent productions under his belt, Future Disciple is one of the most underrated talents in trance. From releases on K90's label to '28 Tracks Later', he garners support from the likes of Judge Jules (Radio1) and Ferry Corsten with every tune. His latest release on Black Hole's Songbird has already grabbed the attention of Above & Beyond on there TATW show, and will no doubt be sticking around for months to come. Both tracks are worthy of front of wallet spots, check them out!

Review:
In the trance game for over a decade the UK's Future Disicple is one of the most under-rated and overlooked producers on the scene. Stand out singles like '28 Tracks Later' garnered an unprecedented amount of radio and DJ support. The past few months have seen a consistent slew of music filtered through the various Black Hole labels, with the latest 'Total Recall' getting most attention. Another film homage showcasing his quality talent, with groovier percussion then usual creating a relentless rolling vibe.

Review:
Transatlantic collaboration here as American production power house George Acosta ('Memories of You', 'Free') teams up with vivacious UK vocalist Lizzie Curios, following collaborations with Lazy Rich, Dinka, and Robbie Rivera. 'Like Home' is instantly catchy summer tune that will be banging around your head for days. With it's commercial edge kept to just the right amount, and mixes from on-form KhoMha and Georges' own Ibiza mixes strip things back keeping it perfect for the clubs and terraces.

Holland's Songbird label (part of the Black Hole empire), has been on quite a roll of late, introducing some great new talent to us. Their latest is a fresh remix of last years 'Nova' by Gosh, which falls onto the studio dials of Andrew Benson. A supernova melodic build climbs like a sky scrapper, with the haunting arrangement focusing on the smooth synth programming and a killer bassline. The end result a truly beautiful and touching overall sound that lends itself perfectly to both trance and progressive heads.

Review:
A recent relocation from the UK to Australia hasn't halted any productivity in Hayley Parsons studio as she starts 2013 where she left off with more brilliant progressive music on Songbird, this one titled '7th Heaven'. With the nod of approval already coming in from,; Armin Van Burren and Moonbeam, one of the trance scenes most underrated producers brings a wonderfully subtle emotion and uplifting flair to this light progger, with whispering intriguing vocals and syncopating melodies. Jimmy Kennedy & Aneesh Gera up the tempo and beef on their remix, which works really well.

Review:
Holland's Black Hole recordings and the more purist Songbird subsidiary have long been at the forefront in discovering and nurturing young talent, with one of the real standouts of the past couple of years being 23 year old South African Jason Van Wyk. Following inclusions on In 'Search of Sunrise', and Cosmic Gates 'Back2Back' comp, he is back with his latest single, the simply stunning 'Winter'. His deeply melodic soundscapes are put on show with this picturesque moment perfectly depicting a cold winters night, and just right for those warm up sets or early hours respectively. With the likes of Armin, Ferry, Schulz, and Above & Beyond all supporting, it's a great lead into an album, which we are told is underway. One to watch for 2013.

Review:
This is one of those tracks which flows with an effortless beauty, the moment you press play you are taken to another place. Sun drenched, sandy beaches with a gentle breeze and a growing sense of excitement in the air. South Africa's Jason Van Wyk and Sweden's JPL hit the perfect combination of styles and influences on this collaboration with Jason's Balearic infused and softer melodies working in harmony with JPLs more rounded and clubbier sound. Cat Martins blissful and emotive vocals float wonderfully above, all coming together in creating a real treat for the senses. For the remixes both JPL and Pierre Pienaar up the bpms and peak time floor appeal. Each of these are deserve to be played out, so there is no harm in grabbing the lot!
