Review: Some crisp and dubby garage treats from Cardiff's Didz, who's previously had his beats released on Ten Thousand Yen, Step2Records and NSA Dubs. This new double-tracker out on Stoke Audio features the mighty "Jus Like" - a mix of technoid hats, deep Detroit pads and some swirling purple lead sounds, all given a spacey, echoed texturising and anchored to punchy kicks and snares. The brilliantly titled "I Think It's 4am Mate" is also on the release, and Didz strips everything down on this one to twitchy garage beats and thick, dark chords with great success.
