London garage producer is back on Studio Rockers with a full length, but this time exploring the realm of nu jazz and broken beat, showing off another dimension of his studio prowess. Starting things off nicely is "Nova" which is smooth dreamy soulfulness reminiscent of Atjazz, as does "Feel It" later on in the album. Similarly "Slo Mo" is wicked and reminds us of the old jams by legends Bugz In The Attic. "Beyond" is groovy Herbie Hancock inspired soul that'll appeal to 2000Black fans. His old garage influences come back in to the fray on "Realtime" and "Twisted" the latter featuring the gorgeous vocals of Bahia. Closing things out is the emotive UK Bass of "Battle" featuring the smooth crooning of Romaine Smith.
