Review: Already supported by Dave Clarke, Shadowdancing is a mighty, racuous release that calls to mind the heady days of hardcore rave. The backing rhythm is not as uptempo as music from that period, but it's all about the aggressive, booming bassline that writhes and wriggles its way against the metallic backdrop and in and out of Radical G's filtered breakdowns. Surprisingly, Clarke and Mr Jones's remix as Unsubscribe is somewhat less intense, with the duo focusing on cold, robotic bleeps and waves of white noise. George Lanham's version is a different proposition entirely, and he uses an insane siren riff - not too dissimilar from the one in Luke Slater's classic remix of Joey Beltram's "Forklift" - to hit the jugular. Highly recommended.
