Review: Editions Mego present the first-time collaboration of Giuseppe Ielasi and Kassel Jaeger - a two-part, 40 minute escapade into analogue power electronics and digital dronescapes. "Parallel" sounds like the inside of a train station at rush hour, moulding a multitude of different sound snippets, intricate bundles of noise and sinister acoustics, a real journey into the depths of improvisation. "Grayscale" is less sparse but nonetheless desolate, where a relatively constant pitter-patter of loose kicks chugs its way through gentle synth bleeps and more ominous melodic patchworks. This is noise with a concrete structure, and is another exemplary debut from Editions Mego.
