John Cale, one of avant garde music’s living legends, has curated the penultimate edition of Modular’s Circa 1979 podmag series.
Born in the Welsh industrial town Garnat, Cale studied music at London’s Goldsmiths College before moving to New York in the 1960s, where he formed the Velvet Underground with Lou Reed.
Previous podmags, which can still be viewed on the Modular website, have been curated by Australian bands The Reels and Severed Heads and boutique label M Squared.
