One of our favourite PR companies Darling Dept engaged in some mildly terrifying guerilla email tactics last week, inundating our inboxes with this rather creepy image and a lack of any additional information.

Having just recovered, we have been informed via an email containing the very same image that the creepy looking primate is in fact the usually not a bit scary at all Fever Ray.
Fever Ray being Fever Ray, it was decided this was the best way to promote the fact her live cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Mercy Street” will be given a proper release on limited 7″ and download through Rabid Records later this year.
Fever Ray fans can however download the track from the NME blog after 4pm today BST for a period of 24 hours.
