The Red Bull Music Academy has embarked on a 10-stop world tour ahead of its upcoming flagship event in Madrid.
There will be 10 events in 10 cities – namely Cape Town, Detroit, Berlin, Paris, Toronto, Melbourne, New York, Rome, Sao Paolo and London – leading up to the full academy, which begins in October. The opening leg of the tour took place in Cape Town, South Africa, last week, with the show moving to Berlin from today (Wednesday, September 7) until Friday, September 9.
The events will comprise of concerts, workshops, art installations, studio sessions and parties, according the RBMA wesbite. The tour culminates with an ambitious sounding event at the London Eye in Westminster, which will see DJs take over each of the big wheel’s capsules for a one-off musical showcase.
