Groove Armada remix competition

Groove Armada and Juno Download have teamed up to give budding producers the opportunity to remix a track from the Groove Armada’s latest EP, with the winning track seeing an official release on the duo’s WORKit! label.

The competition is running to coincide with the release of Groove Armada’s Red Light project, which sees the duo move from their live performances into a “4-deck, multi F-X, audio visual DJ experience”, and will see the eventual release of eight EPs, all of which will be available through Juno Download.

In order to enter you will first need to download the parts via this page, before producing your masterpiece, and then uploading your submissions to Groove Armada’s Soundcloud dropbox, where all entries will be judged by Groove Armada themselves.

As if the prospect of an official release wasn’t enough to get your creative juices flowing, there are some serious prize incentives, with the winner also receiving a copy of Ableton Live 8, Rane SL3 for Serato Scratch Live, £300 of Juno vouchers, an Ableton online course from Manchester Midi School, a Soundcloud Pro account, and copies of Mixed In Key and Platinum Notes.
