Released a few weeks ago through Flying Lotus‘ Brainfeeder imprint, Ghost People (reviewed a few weeks ago here at Juno Plus) looks set to appear on many end of year lists, with the Dutch producer skilfully connects the dots between house, dubstep, techno and garage. From the muscular, shuffling Detroit influenced house jam “Masks” to the phenomenal eight minute long rave and drum and bass referencing “We Are You In The Future”, Ghost People is essential listening.
The vinyl version comes as a 2×12″, pressed on heavyweight vinyl, with gorgeous artwork by longstanding Martyn collaborator Erosie (pictured above), and includes a download code for a free digital version of the album.
