Juke don DJ Rashad’s “Kush Ain’t Loud” now has its own video, courtesy of Swamp 81 affiliated visual artist Ashes57.
The track appeared on Teklife Vol 1, the first release on Rashad’s new Lit City Trax imprint, created in collaboration with DJ Spinn and associate J-Cush. It was one of that set’s finer moments, a juxtaposition of smooth Rhodes chords, horn samples and furious percussive rattles, and the visual accompaniment features some typically dexterous footwork moves set to a backdrop of one of Ashes57′s distinctive black and white murals.
