Listen: Minotaur Shock – Ocean Swell/Lending Library (Bass Clef remix)

Bristol based electronica artist Minotaur Shock has a new album out this week, and Hackney’s resident modular wizard Bass Clef has produced a remix to mark the occasion.

Taking the rather unusual approach of combining stems from two tracks from the producer’s new album (entitled Orchard, his first in four years), it chops up the pastoral tones of “Ocean Swell” and “Lending Library” and uses them as textural ambience for Bass Clef’s breakbeat rhythms and modular machine funk.
