Walking dance music encyclopaedia Bill Brewster and DJ doyen Erol Alkan recently met up for a chat in a leafy London park, and !K7 Records were kind enough to film their discussion.
The two met ahead of the release of Alkan’s Another Bugged Out Mix / Another Bugged In Selection mix CD, with the Phantasy Sounds boss revealing that his speakers took a battering during the live recording of the mix. During the course of their nine minute powwow, Alkan explains of the reasons behind starting the legendary (and long defunct) Trash club night, and explains why he is a “big fan of imperfection”.
