Nonplus and Workshop Records will be coming together for a party in London next month as part of the multi-pronged Hydra series of events, and we have a pair of tickets to give away.
Nonplus, now run solely by Boddika since Jon Convex moved on to focus on his own imprint, Convex Industries, has gone from strength to strength this year, making a subtle shift towards the sounds of 4/4 techno with strong releases from Endian, Basic Soul Unit and Skudge. Over the course of its lifetime the label has also found a common bond with the deep techno output of the Berlin based Workshop imprint, even releasing records from two of its key artists, Lowtec and Kassem Mosse.
On Saturday November 24, the two labels will come together for a London warehouse party (in a secret location of course) as part of Broken and Uneven’s Hydra series of events, with Boddika, Joy Orbison, Skudge, Endian and Loefah representing the Nonplus stable in room one, and Kassem Mosse, Lowtec and Even Tuell holding things down for Workshop in room two.
In order to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the event, simply send the correct answer to this question, with “Nonplus” in the subject heading to firstname.lastname@example.org: What is the name of Boddika’s other record label, run alongside Joy Orbison?
Entries will close at midday on Thursday November 22, 2012, and the winner selected at random and notified shortly afterwards.
