Review:
Smooth and jazzy joy abounds on this collection of remixes of B Dub's "B Funk". Their own 7" dub throws in a laidback trombone solo in place of the vocals, but it's Badboe who really kicks off the party with his DJ Spinna-esque treatment, recalling the great Fred Wesley at times too. It's full of life and would get even the staunchest wallflower grooving after a few seconds. Sard Boogie slows down the tempo on his mix and creates a melancholic soundbed for the brass solos to really shine. Funky brilliance spun out over three delightful tracks.
