Review:
Hotly tipped, Ninja-affiliated Jammer kicks off his debut artist album by starting, chronologically, at "The Beginning". It's hip-hop influenced, dancehall-laced, grime-heavy and jam packed with fun; very much along the same lines as Toddla T, Redlight et al - who, incidentally, produced "Party Animal" and "Get It In" respectively. Other key appearances from Mumdance, Boy Better Know, Lickle J, Newham Generals, Kivanch, Rapid and more also crop up in the 13-track duration of Jahmanji. Harking back to a bygone era with "Back To The 90s" and some classic lyrics about Reeboks and Air Max (oh yes), other highlights include last year's hit "Party Animal" - "bashment, grime, funky" - the infectious, murky riddims of "Murkle Mode" and the low-slung "Get It In".
