Review:
Barcelona-based Galaktika Records has never been one of Europe's most revered imprints, but its releases are rarely anything less than solid. Since setting up shop five years ago, the label has released some real gems, as well as lots of good quality tackle from up and coming artists. This epic compilation - some 28 unmixed, full-length tracks, plus two CD-length DJ mixes - presents some of the label's best works, perfectly showcasing its slow-burning approach to deep house and tech-house. If you've yet to check the label, this is the perfect place to start - particularly as it features such brilliantly named groovers as "The Rebellion Of The Tucans" and "Stairway To Cheese".
