Review:
Solo releases by Crazy P members Chris Todd and James Baron are usually worth a gander, and this five-tracker from the latter (under his now familiar Ron Basejam alias) is no exception. Baron is a past master at fusing deep house and disco to create heart-warming dancefloor instrumentals, and here he presents more comforting creations. There's a dash of rolling midtempo electrofunk ("Sanfranman"), some sensual slo-mo fare ("Hell No", "Get Closer"), an atmospheric late night deep houser ("One Point") and even a nagging, quietly anthemtic late house cut ("Looter"). As you'd expect, all are impeccably produced and steadfastly dancefloor focused.
