Review:
US dubstep peddler and producer of D&B, Noah D, provides us with a tough, techy A-Side to the third volume of the Adversary series. Thunderous subs, furiously clashing breaks and eerie, vengeful vocal sampling rule throughout "Control Freak" to awe-inspiring, eardrum-battering effect. Showing close affiliation to fellow US-based dark D&B-sters Dylan and Robyn Chaos, with a smattering of the Renegade Hardware sound in there as well, it's a winner for fans of the tougher, rougher part of late 90s D&B. The relentlessly aggressive sound is continued by Djunya & Neglect on the flip; "Nomad" encompasses swirling sci-fi synths and a thumping beat to get the mutilating forces to work.
