Review:
Bam Bam Dealers have been around for yonks, gleefully fusing reggae, dubstep and old skool jungle with a healthy dose of cheeky humour. Despite their vintage, Ancient 'Tings is their first release since 2009. It's a typically tongue-in-cheek release, with "The Hitcher" making merry with a Mighty Boosh vocal sample, twisted noises, sub-bothering bass, dubstep rhythms and occasional blasts of Amen breaks. "Sucker" is a more straight up skanking reggae/dubstep fusion featuring a breezy vocal, whilst "On The Run" wobbles and shakes like Chris Moyles on a treadmill. Silly, but very, very good fun.
