Review:
A singer and songwriter, who's made a name for herself by recording and performing using all manner of eccentric accessories including typewriters, cheese graters, chopping boards and other assorted household goods, Bev Lee Harling's debut album for Wah Wah 45s was recorded with Rogall from Micatone and brilliantly mixes her delicate jazz vocals with printer noises ("Robots and Angels") or more conventional blues instrumentation ("Devil's On Your Tail") to create an album as refreshing and slightly bonkers as Camille's "Ilo Veyou".
