501, AKA, Jussi Leväsalmi, is a producer from Uusimaa, Finland who has been breaking down the boundaries of dubstep with some fresh and exciting releases for the likes of Red Volume Records, Subway Records, Off Road and Shiva Soundsystem. Now arriving on Z Audio, the talented producer delivers more streetwise rhythms and raw low end blended into bassline driven controlled mayhem on his latest release, "Beast Within." The title track sees distorted synths staggering along beneath tight beats and some tension-stirring melodies. B Side, "Back Up" is a slower, more breakbeat influenced rider that even includes a Spanish guitar melody!
