Review:
Given the complementary nature of their respective output, it makes sense for Deep Christopher Rau and Moomin to join forces as Roaming, and it makes further sense that their regular base of operations Smallville would be more than willing to release their work together. Believe In Reflecting is the mastered results of a series of "off-the-cuff improvisation sessions" undertaken by the two German producers, with both "Our Dream Of..." and "Believe In Reflecting" typically bathed in a sepia-tinted glow and complemented by sparse, introspective drum programming and raw, bluesy samples. Smallpeople aka Dionne & Julius Steinhoff round off a superb invitation into the world of Roaming with a more forceful rendition of "Believe In Reflecting".
