While Pete Herbert's typically jolly, Balearic-tinged nu-disco rework of the title track is arguably the headline attraction, there's actually far better material on this EP if you're willing to dig a bit deeper. Take the bustling analogue kraut grooves of the title track, for example, or the warm, fuzzy Balearic grooves of "Footprints"; both stand tall alongside Herbert's soft focus remix. There's also some gorgeous, Smith & Mudd-ish blissfulness in the shape of "And We're Falling" and a Vangelis-on-smack soundscape that goes by the name of "Butane". If this is anything to go by, Stratus's forthcoming album should be well worth a listen. Recommended.
